Frisian Flag 2008

At Leeuwarden Air Base the international exercise Frisian Flag 2008 was held between March 31st until April 11th. Aim of the exercise is that the participating pilots learn to work in complex international missions.

The hosting squadron, 323 TACTESS, organises this exercise already many years.

WEF 2008

In January the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) took place in Zurich - Switzerland. This traditionally coincident with a Wiederholungskuhrs at one of the Swiss Air Force bases.

This year Meiringen had it's turn with 8th and 11th Staffel providing Combat Air Patrol (CAP) protection 24 hours a day with 8 Staffel daytime - and 11 Staffel round the clock cover.
