Nico van Remmerden
Nico was born October 9th 1973 in Zeist wich is a town nearby the former RNLAF/USAFE air base of Soesterberg.
Nico started photographing in 1988 together with his first camera a Practica Super TL3,with this camera he took his first shots of the F15s from the 32nd Tactical fighter squadron and other aircraft that visited soesterberg Airbase.
After several years he bought a Minolta 500si Dynax with a Cosina 70-300 lens.With that camera he travelled around to most of the USAFE bases in Germany where he spend most of his spare time.
In 2005 Nico bought his first digital camera a Canon 350D with a Sigma 80-400. So that was his first experience in the digital area.
After two years he finally bought his favorite camera the Canon 1D Mark II N with a Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8L USM. Down below you can see what kind of equipment Nico currently uses.
