Ashley Wallace
Ashley was born in 1989 in cambridge UK. He became interested in aviation at a very early age through his parents who took him to his very first airshow which was at RAF Mildenhall in 1990. Ever since then it became an annual event and he became hooked on aviation.
In the nineties Ashley shot film with his mothers point and shoot Canon camera, but in 2002 it was decided that he wanted something a bit better. He brought himself a Nikon F55 35mm SLR with a 75-300mm Lens. After a couple of years shooting film, it was becoming expensive and with the introduction of digital photography, in 2004 he made the change and brought a Nikon D70 DSLR. Since then he has upgraded all his equipment and is now shooting with semi professional Nikon digital equipment.
Ashley has had many images published for aviation publications over the past few years including, Airforces Monthly and Combat Aircraft. He also regularly travels to the United States in pursuit of his hobby and he now lives in Suffolk a few miles from RAF Mildenhall working at a Photographic Lab/Studio.
